Location: Bangalore (Hybrid / Remote-friendly)

Experience:1 year+ (Recruitment / HR Ops / Staffing / Startup Ops)

Employment Type: Full-time

Compensation: 20,000 25,000 per month (up to 30,000 per month for strong performers)+Incentives

Role Overview:

OpenHire is a fast-moving hiring startup. We are looking for a Vendor Operations Executive who can manage, activate, and drive performance from our network of freelance recruiters and staffing vendors.

This is not a passive HR or coordination role.

This role requires ownership, follow-ups, urgency, and closures.

You will be responsible for ensuring that vendors are actively working on live roles and that positions move from open interview offer join.

Key Responsibilities

Vendor & Freelancer Management
  • Manage a pool of freelance recruiters & staffing vendors
  • Act as the single point of contact for communication, alignment, and performance
  • Track vendor activity, candidate submissions, and role closures

Onboarding & Activation
  • Identify and onboard new recruitment vendors & freelance recruiters
  • Train them on OpenHire processes, live roles, expectations, and SLAs
  • Ensure vendors are actively working on live roles, not just onboarded

Role Closure Ownership
  • Allocate roles to the right vendors based on capability and speed
  • Drive urgency through daily follow-ups and weekly closure targets
  • Identify bottlenecks and unblock vendors to close roles faster

Performance & Quality Control
  • Monitor submission quality, turnaround time (TAT), and conversion rates
  • Deactivate or deprioritize low-performing vendors
  • Build a high-performing, reliable supply network

What Success Looks Like
  • Vendors are active, accountable, and responsive
  • Roles move quickly with fewer delays
  • Clear visibility on vendor performance
  • Minimal dependency on founders for follow-ups

Ideal Candidate Profile
  • 6 months 1 year experience in recruitment, staffing, HR ops, or startup operations
  • Strong follow-up and execution mindset
  • Comfortable speaking with multiple vendors daily
  • Organized, disciplined, and outcome-focused
  • Comfortable using WhatsApp, Email, and Google Sheets

Freshers with strong internship or startup exposure can also apply.
