Role Overview
This role will act as the central coordinator between manufacturers, packaging vendors, labs, and internal teams, ensuring smooth execution of production, quality, and dispatch.
ResponsibilitiesOwn manufacturer & vendor coordination
- Coordinate with contract manufacturers for production planning and execution
- Raise and track purchase orders (POs) across raw materials and packaging
- Work closely with packaging vendors
- Follow up on timelines, delays, and dispatch schedules
Own production tracking & inventory visibility
- Track production batches and ensure timely completion
- Maintain visibility on raw material and finished goods inventory
- Coordinate internally to avoid stockouts or overproduction
Own quality, labs & compliance coordination
- Coordinate with third-party labs for product testing (COA, microbiology, etc.)
- Maintain documentation for batch records, test reports, and compliance
- Ensure product labels and claims are aligned with regulatory requirements
Own dispatch & logistics coordination
- Coordinate movement of goods from manufacturers to warehouse/3PL
- Track shipments and resolve delays or discrepancies
Own documentation & operational hygiene
- Maintain records for POs, invoices, GRNs, and vendor communication
- Track vendor performance across timelines and quality
Qualifications- Have 2–4 years of experience in supply chain, operations, or vendor management in nutraceuticals, food, FMCG
- Have worked with third-party manufacturers and packaging vendors
- Have hands-on experience with lab testing coordination and compliance documentation (COA, FSSAI, etc.)
- Strong follow-up and coordination skills — comfortable managing vendors over calls, WhatsApp, and email
- Comfortable working on Excel / Google Sheets for tracking and reporting
- Comfortable handling multiple moving parts without things slipping
