Job Description

Department: Category Management / OperationsRole Summary

We are looking for a proactive Vendor Onboarding Executive to expand our product catalogue and manage the lifecycle of our supplier partnerships. Your goal is to identify high-potential brands, negotiate win-win partnerships, and lead them through a seamless technical and operational setup. You are the first impression a vendor has of our company.

Key Responsibilities

1. Vendor Identification & Sourcing

* Research and identify potential new brands and suppliers that align with our category growth strategy.

* Conduct outreach and pitch our marketplace value proposition to prospective partners.

* Perform due diligence: verify business legitimacy, product quality, and market reputation.

2. Onboarding & Technical Setup

* Lead the end-to-end onboarding journey, from contract signing to Go Live.

* Guide vendors through the Seller Portal, including product listing (bulk uploads), inventory sync, and pricing.

* Coordinate with the Tech/catalogue team to ensure product data meets our SEO and quality standards.

3. Relationship & Performance Management

* Negotiate commercial terms, including commission rates, payment cycles, and shipping responsibilities.

* Provide training and documentation to vendors on how to use our platform effectively.

Vendor Onboarding Lifecycle

What We're Looking For

* Education: any degree

* Experience: 12 years in e-commerce, vendor management, or B2B sales.

* Technical Proficiency: Experience with e-commerce platforms

* Soft Skills: Strong negotiation skills and the patience to troubleshoot technical issues with non-technical vendors.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

* Onboarding Velocity: Time taken from first contact to the first sale.

* Catalogue Depth: Number of new SKUs (products) added per month.

* Vendor Quality: Rate of order fulfilment and compliance with platform policies.
