About the Opportunity

A leading Middle East-based Oil & Gas organization is establishing a new Global Capability Center (GCC) in India and is seeking a Vendor Manager / Sr Vendor Manager to establish and manage the supplier ecosystem supporting the organization's growth.

This is a unique opportunity to build vendor governance frameworks, strategic sourcing processes, and supplier management capabilities for a greenfield GCC. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the center's growth to 200+ employees while partnering with stakeholders across Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities

Vendor Management & GCC Setup

• Establish vendor management frameworks and governance processes.

• Build and manage supplier ecosystems supporting GCC operations.

• Develop strategic sourcing and procurement plans aligned with business objectives.

• Support GCC setup and expansion initiatives.

Supplier Governance

• Manage supplier performance, compliance, and service quality.

• Establish supplier evaluation and performance management frameworks.

• Drive continuous improvement across vendor relationships.

• Ensure adherence to procurement policies and governance standards.

Strategic Sourcing & Procurement

• Lead sourcing initiatives and supplier selection processes.

• Manage contract negotiations and commercial discussions.

• Develop procurement strategies that support business growth.

• Drive cost optimization and procurement excellence initiatives.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with stakeholders across Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom.

• Build strong relationships with internal business leaders and external partners.

• Provide procurement and vendor management insights to support business decisions.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in vendor management, procurement, sourcing, or supplier management.

• Proven experience supporting GCC, GBS, Shared Services, or Captive Center environments.

• Strong expertise in procurement governance, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management.

• Experience managing contracts, negotiations, and vendor performance.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Oil & Gas or other regulated-industry experience preferred.

• Experience supporting greenfield GCC setup initiatives.

• Familiarity with procurement, sourcing, and vendor management platforms.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree (Mandatory)

• MBA / PGDM - Supply Chain Management, Operations, General Management, or related discipline (Preferred)
