Job Title: Vendor Management Analyst (Hardware)
Location: India - Hyderabad
Employment Type: Full-time, hybrid work arrangement
The job
As a Vendor Management Analyst within the IT department, your primary focus will be on managing and analysing relationships with hardware vendors, ensuring that products and services meet the organization's technical and operational requirements. While your main responsibility will be in the hardware category, you may also support activities related to software and telecommunications (telco) vendors as needed. You will work under the guidance of senior team members and collaborate closely with IT, procurement, and finance teams to support effective supplier partnerships.
Key responsibilities
Purchasing Hardware as per IT department's requirements - obtaining quotations and handling payments and invoicing.
Assist in the end-to-end vendor lifecycle-including selection, onboarding, and offboarding-with a primary focus on hardware vendors.
Support the monitoring and analysis of hardware vendor performance against SLAs and KPIs, ensuring quality and timely delivery of IT equipment and related services.
Assist in resolving hardware vendor-related issues and maintaining positive, professional relationships with suppliers across all relevant categories.
Essential requirements
Some experience in vendor management, procurement, or IT supplier relationship roles, ideally with exposure to hardware vendors.
Basic understanding of IT hardware products and services, with an interest in developing knowledge of software and telco categories.
Good communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
Willingness to learn about contract management and vendor performance assessment.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Desired skills
Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. Oracle, SAP).
Proactive attitude and eagerness to develop negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
High level of integrity and professionalism.

Hybrid working
