Required Skills And Qualification
- Relevant experience 3-5 years in purchase and vendor development, preferably in a manufacturing and production industries
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering / Industrial Engineering or related field
- Diploma in Mechanical or Production Engineering (with relevant experience) can also be considered
- Should be experienced in complete manufacturing sector for direct materials primarily (Sheet Metal, Plastic, rubber is a plus)
- More knowledge in sourcing strategies, vendor evaluation and negotiation techniques.
- Strong analytical skills to assess vendor capabilities, pricing structures and product quality.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skillsto build strong relationships with vendorsand internal stakeholders.
- Experience in ERP software's to release the PO, Inventory management and vendor management
- Ability to travel domestically on a daily basis
- Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identify and resolve sourcingrelated issues.

- Supplier follow up, MC estimation and Meeting the OTD
- Travel to Vendor place for evaluation and selection
- Contract negotiation and management
- Asses, Manage and Mitigate the risks related to procurement
