Vehicle Testing Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Vehicle-Level Testing:
• Conduct range, energy consumption, throttle/speed/thermal mapping, software & UI/UX verification, and overall performance testing for EVs.
• Powertrain & System Integration:
• Lead testing of HV & LV systems, including powertrain, BMS, and motor controller integration.
• Pre-Homologation & Certification:
• Plan, execute, and support homologation testing (ARAI/VRDE); ensure regulatory compliance.
• Data Acquisition & Analysis:
• Utilize tools such as VBOX Racelogic, INFLUX Rexgen, CAN Loggers, Vector CANoe for data logging and diagnostics. Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and document results.
• Feature Verification & FOTA:
• Support benchmarking, integration testing, FOTA (Firmware Over-The-Air) updates, and issue resolution for new product features.
• Test Coordination:
• Draft SOWs and SORs; collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline testing workflows and resolve issues efficiently.
• Equipment Management:
• Ensure calibration and maintenance of test tools, instruments, and setups per industry standards.
