BACKGROUND EDUCATIONAL ESSENTIAL DESIRABLE: -
B.E/B.TECH/M.TECH GRADUATION/POST GRADUATION IN MECHANICAL / AUTOMOBILE / ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING
Experience: 5 to 7 years
JOB ROLE RESPONSIBILITY
- Basic understanding about Chassis system, design aspects function.
- Basic understanding of part selection issues faced during vehicle assembly.
- Experience of simulation software (like ADAMS, CARSIM, Matlab etc.)
- Knowledge of KC simulation, Ride and handling simulation, Tire modeling
- Understanding of vehicle dynamic parameters terminologies related to Ride, handling and braking.
- Estimate the impact of vehicle parameters on RHB
- Interact with testing teams for analyzing failures, correlate the results of CAE with physical testing results and making improvements in CAE model.
- Interpretation of results, comprehending failure modes and providing directions for countermeasures for meeting performance criteria.
COMPETENCY REQUIRMENTS. (TECHNICAL /FUNCTIONAL / BEHIVIOURAL)
- Thorough understanding of automotive engineering and regulatory guidelines and standards (ex. SAE, JATMA, ETRTO and AIS).
- Ability to work hands on with Chassis parts.
- Good Knowledge in area of Vehicle Dynamics, Ride handling, Tire, control systems.
- Basic knowledge of CAD software e.g. UG NX.
- Experience of Project Management will be added advantage.
- On-road driving experience of 2 years is must.
