Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Vehicle Mechanic role based in Vadodara. The Vehicle Mechanic will perform routine and preventive maintenance on company vehicles and heavy equipment to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with internal standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical issues, conducting troubleshooting, and carrying out repairs on engines, transmission systems, brakes, electrical components, and hydraulic systems. The role involves maintaining service records, coordinating scheduled maintenance, and ensuring proper use of tools and equipment. The Vehicle Mechanic may also support supervision of maintenance activities, collaborate with logistics and operations teams, and assist in implementing continuous improvement initiatives for fleet performance. The Vehicle Mechanic Will Service, Repair & Diagnose Fault of Vehicle like Mercedes, Toyota, Maruti, Kia, Isuzu, Tractors, Generators & Some Vintage Classic Cars.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess 2 to 10 years of strong Vehicle Maintenance & Repair skills for cars, Tractors, Commercial vehicles, and heavy equipment.
- Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting skills to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues efficiently.
- Candidates should possess experience working with Heavy Equipment used in industrial and manufacturing environments.
- Candidates should have Skills to guide support staff and coordinate maintenance schedules.
- Formal technical training or certification in automotive or mechanical engineering (ITI, Diploma, or equivalent) is preferred.
- Knowledge of safety standards, tools, and workshop practices, with the ability to follow SOPs and company policies.
- Ability to read and interpret service manuals, technical drawings, and maintenance documentation.
- Previous experience as a vehicle or fleet mechanic in industrial or manufacturing settings will be an advantage.
