- Lead cross-functional teams in the development and delivery of electric scooter and e-bike programs, from concept to production.
- Own overall vehicle system integration including battery pack, electric motor, controller, BMS, chassis/frame, and vehicle electronics.
- Plan, direct, and control engineering activities to ensure products meet program targets for timing, cost, Quality, and performance.
- Manage engineering deliverables across the product development process (PDP) and ensure alignment across internal teams, suppliers, and Engineering Service Partners.
- Oversee preparation and release of engineering documentation to support tooling, sourcing, validation, and production launch.
- Ensure compliance with electric two-wheeler regulations, safety standards, and market requirements.
- Manage engineering resources, program budgets, and team workload to achieve project milestones.
- Lead design reviews, program reviews, and technical discussions with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Coach and develop engineering team members and support recruitment of technical talent.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
- More than 15 years of engineering experience in automotive, EV, or electric two-wheeler product development.
- Strong knowledge of electric powertrain systems including battery packs, motors, controllers, and vehicle electronics.
- 8–10 years of leadership experience managing cross-functional engineering teams and vehicle development programs.
- Experience delivering products through complete development lifecycle (concept → validation → production launch).
- Familiarity with electric two-wheeler regulations and homologation requirements is preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills in fast-paced development environments.
