Veeva Systems - Migration Architect

Veeva Systems is looking for a Migration Architect who will become a leading member of our India Services team, providing migration solutions for our global project teams implementing Veeva Vault RD (pharmaceutical development) applications and Vault Platform cloud solutions to companies in the life sciences industry. You will lead customer migration implementations by providing expertise with data and document content migration, Vault API, Vault migration tools, and Vault Platform best practices. You will act as a customer advocate, working closely with other Veeva teams (Services, Product, Sales, Strategy) to ensure customer success today and in the future. This is a remote, full-time permanent role with Veeva. Veeva is a work anywhere company with no location requirement.

What You'll Do

• Work on the Vault RD migration implementation, including the migration of document content and object data from legacy systems to Vault.
• Perform extract, transform, and load (ETL) process.
• Work with CTMS Data Migration Specialists on migration activities and best practices.
• Contribute to our Professional Services knowledge base to build a migration program.

Requirements

• 3+ years of document/content migration experience with enterprise content management systems (Documentum, OpenText, Box, SharePoint, etc.).
• 3+ years of database migration experience with enterprise software systems (SAP, Salesforce.com, PeopleSoft, Oracle, Trackwise, Argus, ArisGlobal, etc.).
• Experience working with databases, SQL, Python, Microsoft Excel, REST APIs, JSON, and XML.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience working in large complex project teams and global clients.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the Pharmaceutical and Life sciences industry.
• Background in data migration or integration consulting.
• Content Management implementation experience.
• Experience with GxP and software validation regulations.
• Experience with the migration verification process.
• Candidate should be based in Hyderabad/Bangalore.
