Job Description

Job Title: Business Technology Solutions Associate

Experience Required: 1–2 years

Preferred Certification: Veeva Vault Certified or Veeva Network Certification

Location: Pune/Noida/Gurgaon

Job Overview

As an Associate Veeva Vault Developer , you will contribute to the design, configuration, and development of Veeva Vault applications, with a focus on the Development Cloud. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, compliant, and high-quality Vault-based solutions for clients in the life sciences industry. This role blends platform administration, configuration, and custom development using Vault SDK and APIs.

Key Responsibilities

Vault Administration & Configuration

  • Configure Vault applications including user roles, permissions, lifecycles, workflows, and metadata.
  • Manage Vault objects, document types, controlled vocabularies, and security settings.
  • Manage environment administration tasks such as sandbox setup, user provisioning, and configuration migration.
  • Support release management and deployment processes across environments.

Vault Development & Customization

  • Develop custom components using Vault SDK (Java) to extend platform capabilities.
  • Implement object lifecycle customizations, workflow automation, triggers, and user actions.
  • Integrate Vault with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, reusable, and aligned with Vault best practices.

Quality, Compliance & Support

  • Participate in CI/CD processes and ensure adherence to GxP and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance standards.
  • Provide post-deployment support, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, customizations, and technical decisions.

Collaboration & Continuous Learning

  • Work with business analysts and consultants to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Collaborate in an agile delivery model to provide incremental value.
  • Leverage Veeva certification knowledge to drive platform best practices.
  • Continuously upskill in Veeva Vault modules such as QualityDocs, QMS, RIM, Safety, and PromoMats.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience in Veeva Vault administration and development.
  • Veeva Vault Administrator/Developer Certification (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Vault SDK (Java), configuration migration tools, and API integrations.
  • Strong understanding of Vault data model, object relationships, workflows, and security.
  • Technical skills in Java/J2EE, SQL, JavaScript, XML/JSON, REST APIs.
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Preferred/Good-to-Have Skills

  • Exposure to multiple Vault modules (e.g., QualityDocs, QMS, RIM, PromoMats, MedComms).
  • Familiarity with life sciences regulatory frameworks (21 CFR Part 11, GxP).
  • Experience with Git, Jenkins, and Agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of data migration, system upgrades, and release management processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in IT consulting or pharma data management.
  • Good understanding of HCP/HCO master data, data governance, and integration basics.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with global teams across time zones
