Job Description

Role: Business Technology Solutions Associate / Senior Associate – Veeva CRM & Vault CRM Admin

Experience: 3–5 Years

Location: Pune/Noida/Gurugram

Key Responsibilities

Veeva CRM and Vault CRM Configuration & Administration

• Configure CRM components such as Accounts, Contacts, Calls, CLM, Events Management, Surveys, and Multichannel interactions.

• Set up user roles, profiles, permission sets, territories, call cycles, and business rules.

• Build X-Pages dashboards, visualizations, and widgets using JSON, JavaScript, HTML, and VQL-like queries.

• Manage CLM content lifecycle (uploading, bundling, validation, metadata assignment).

• Support CRM Mobile, iPad, and Desktop configuration and platform rollouts.

• Execute sandbox management, metadata migration, release planning, and refreshing the environment.

• Analyze CRM usage, identify enhancement opportunities, and drive platform optimization.

Technical Development & Integrations

• Develop Vault SDK components (Java) for triggers, actions, workflow extensions, and custom services.

• Collaborate with integration teams to design and test REST/SOAP API integrations between Veeva CRM/Vault and:

o MDM systems

o Concur System

o Data warehouses

o Digital engagement platforms (Engage, Adobe, SFMC)

• Support data migration mapping, transformation, cleansing, and validation activities.

Quality, Compliance & Validation

• Ensure configurations and customizations comply with GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, and client regulatory standards.

• Participate in or lead validation documentation (IQ, OQ, PQ), test scripts, and risk assessments.

• Manage and triage defects, coordinate UAT cycles, and support hypercare and production rollout.

• Maintain detailed documentation for configurations, architecture decisions, and release notes.

Project Delivery, Stakeholder Management & Collaboration

• Work with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable Veeva solutions.

• Support or lead workshops for requirement gathering, design walkthroughs, and platform demonstrations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (BA, QA, Data, Integration, DevOps).

• Contribute to sprint planning, estimations, user stories, and agile ceremonies.

• Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies proactively.

• Mentor junior team members and ensure adherence to platform best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, Engineering, or related field.

• 2–5 years of experience working with Veeva CRM and/or Veeva Vault.

• Hands-on knowledge of CRM data models, CLM workflows, user access models, and commercial operations.

• Understanding of Vault objects, documents, workflows, lifecycles, and security configurations.

• Technical experience with:

- Java / Apex

- JavaScript / HTML

- SQL / SOQL / XML / JSON

- REST/SOAP APIs

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently own deliverables.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; experience working with global teams.

Preferred / Good-to-Have

• Veeva CRM or Vault certification(s).

• Experience with Salesforce.com (SFDC) platform.

• Knowledge of Veeva Network, Align, CLM content factories, or Medical/Regulatory workflows.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).

• Understanding of pharma domain, HCP/HCO data, and compliance frameworks.
