Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Implementation: Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of VDI solutions across multi-cloud environments, including Citrix, Microsoft VDI (W365 AVD), and AWS.
- Roadmapping: create and maintain the roadmap and business case/investment plan for the corporate VDI ecosystem.
- Technical Leadership: Serve as the technical lead for VDI projects and during critical incidents, providing guidance and mentorship to the team of engineers.
- Cost Efficiency and Scalability: Ensure VDI solutions are cost-effective and scalable to meet the needs of the organization.
- Best Practices: Develop and promote best practices for VDI deployment, management, and security.
- Innovation: Drive innovation in VDI technology, staying up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements.
- Documentation: ensure that a comprehensive documentation of VDI environments, configurations, and procedures is maintained by the the team of engineers.
- Experience: at least 7 years in managing VDI with minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing large VDI solutions-
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Citrix, Microsoft W365/AVD, and AWS.
- Leadership: Proven experience in leading and mentoring a team of engineers.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English).
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
- Certifications: Citrix Certified Expert (CCE), Microsoft Certified: Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty, AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
