- Architecture: Multidomain VCF design, HA/DR, scaleout strategies, capacity modeling
- Lifecycle Management: SDDC Manager bundle planning, upgrade orchestration
- Operations: Health monitoring, logging, drift remediation, compliance, certificate/password management
- Networking & Security: NSX policy design, segmentation, load balancing, VPC architectures
- Automation: VCF Automation org design, templates, policies, approvals, IaC pipelines
- Governance: Identity and RBAC across vCenter, NSX, VCF Operations, and Automation
Experience required:
- 15+ years in enterprise infrastructure with 10+ years architecting VMwarebased platforms; deep expertise across vSphere, vSAN, NSX and SDDC Manager lifecycle patterns.
- Proven design experience with VCF architecture models (management vs. workload domains, standard vs. consolidated) and fleet/instance/domain concepts.
- Handson with VCF Installer (new and converged deployments) and VCF Operations (health, capacity, LCM, certificates, config drift, chargeback).
- Strong NSX skills: microsegmentation, DFW, routing/LB, VPC integrations inside VCF.
- Automation background: VCF Automation tenancy models and selfservice patterns; IaC (Terraform/Aria).
