VBA Developer

We are seeking experienced VBA Developer to join exciting enterprise transformation projects. If you have expertise in VBA, VB Macros, Power Query, SQL Queries, we would like to connect.

Responsibilities:

We are looking for a highly skilled VBA Developer with strong expertise in Microsoft Office automation technologies, especially Excel VBA, Power Query, Word VBA, and Outlook automation. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand business requirements and deliver scalable automation solutions that improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Understand business problems and translate requirements into effective, scalable, and sustainable automation solutions

Develop, maintain, and enhance VBA-based automation solutions across Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power Query

Design reusable frameworks, utilities, and automation components while adhering to coding standards, quality guidelines, and best practices

Work on data processing, reporting, workflow automation, email automation, and system integration activities using VBA and related technologies

Analyse requirements, troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and deliver effective automation solutions with minimal supervision

Quickly learn and adapt to new business processes, applications, technologies, and changing project requirements

Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to ensure successful solution delivery

Prepare technical documentation, user manuals, test cases, and support documents for developed solutions

Support deployment, production monitoring, enhancements, and issue resolution activities

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience in:

VBA / Macro Development (Office Applications - Excel, Word, Outlook,...)

Power Query

Data handling and report automation

Good understanding of:

Excel object model

File handling and folder automation

API integration concepts

Error handling and debugging techniques

Performance optimization in VBA solutions

Experience in creating user forms, dashboards, workflow automation, and complex business logic implementations

Working knowledge of SQL Queries and database connectivity concepts

Ability to follow structured coding practices and maintain reusable code repositories

Preferred / Additional Skills

Possess working knowledge of RPA concepts and utilize VBA automation solutions to design and implement complex business logic and process automations

Exposure to automation platforms such as Automation Anywhere, Power Automate, UiPath, Appian, or similar technologies is an added advantage

Leverage AI, GenAI, and Agentic AI tools to improve productivity across development, testing, documentation, reverse engineering, and support activities
