Location:Caribbean Region

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and highly motivatedVascular Interventional Radiologistto join our medical team in the Caribbean region. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical expertise, advanced interventional radiology skills, and a patient-centered approach to delivering high-quality vascular care. This role involves performing minimally invasive image-guided procedures, managing vascular disorders, and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical & Procedural Duties

Perform a wide range ofvascular and non-vascular interventional radiology procedures, including:

oAngiography, angioplasty, and stent placement

oThrombolysis and thrombectomy

oEmbolization procedures

oCentral venous access

oIVC filter placement and retrieval

oPeripheral vascular interventions

Interpret diagnostic imaging studies such asCT, MRI, Ultrasound, and X-raysrelevant to vascular conditions.

Evaluate patients pre- and post-procedure, ensuring safe and optimal care outcomes.

Participate in emergency on-call rotations as required.

Collaboration & Communication

Work closely with vascular surgeons, cardiologists, radiologists, and other specialists in integrated patient management.

Provide expert guidance on interventional procedures to referring physicians and clinical staff.

Document clinical findings, treatment plans, and patient progress accurately and timely.

Quality, Compliance & Safety

Ensure all procedures follow establishedclinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines.

Contribute to departmental quality improvement initiatives, audits, and training sessions.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of interventional radiology advancements and best practices.

Qualifications & Requirements

MBBS/MD degree with specialization inRadiologyfrom a recognized institution.

Fellowship or formal training inInterventional Radiology(preferred).

Minimum 2 years of hands-on experiencein vascular interventional radiology.

Valid medical license and eligibility for registration in the Caribbean region (support may be provided for credentialing).

Proficiency in interpreting diagnostic imaging and performing image-guided interventions.

Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and patient management skills.

Ability to work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Skills

Experience with advanced endovascular techniques.

Familiarity with hybrid operating rooms and state-of-the-art IR equipment.

Commitment to continuous learning and teaching (if applicable).

Culturally sensitive and adaptable to working in a diverse Caribbean healthcare environment.
