Varicent Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and implement Varicent software solutions to meet client commission calculation requirements
• Translate compensation business requirements into scalable technical specifications
• Analyze commission models and provide guidance to business and technical teams on configuration and implementation options
• Estimate time and effort for functional development and defect resolution tasks
• Offer technical guidance to Varicent developers for successful delivery of functional tasks
• Develop and update technical documentation for Varicent Commissions Solution Design
• Analyze upstream data requirements and downstream system impacts to ensure accurate incentive calculations
• Identify and implement efficiency enhancements for Varicent solutions
• Maintain time tracking, design, development, and progress documentation
• Participate in audits and analyses of data feeding into the incentive compensation engine, resolving discrepancies
• Support commission calculation inquiries and exceptions from business operations and finance teams
• Provide project management support for incentive compensation projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and budget
• Stay updated on Varicent tool capabilities, releases, and best practices
