- In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the administration of the Varicent Sales Performance Management (SPM) commission software application
- This includes configuration, enhancements, and bug fixes
- You will deliver reliable, scalable, and efficient applications managing all phases of the development life cycle, including requirements gathering, modeling & design, development, testing, deployment, integration, and documentation
- Working with cross-functional teams, you will develop solutions that accelerate cycle times, alleviate cumbersome manual processes, and ensure accurate results
- Additionally, you will have the opportunity to contribute to process improvement initiatives to drive innovation within the organization
Candidate Qualifications:
- A Bachelors degree in Information Technology, MIS, or Computer Science or related field
- Overall 5 years of software development experience with a minimum of 2 years of solutioning and programming experience with Varicent ICM
- Experience in the insurance domain (Life, Disability) and understanding of insurance terminology and Life Insurance/Disability Insurance Agent contracts
- Strong knowledge in Design, Development, and Testing of ETL methodologies in all phases of Data Warehousing
- Proficiency in creating and publishing dashboards and writing SQL queries
- Prior expertise in business analysis and technical skills to develop requirements documents for ICM (Varicent)
- Experience with Agile deliverables and ceremonies
- Advanced skills in SQL, JavaScript, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
- Capability to solve complex technical problems and assimilate information rapidly
