Role: REVS Manager (Real Estate Valuation)
Location: Bangalore & Hyderabad & Gurugram & Mumbai & Pune
Position Overview
Shared Services is looking for an experienced mid-management level candidate who will be responsible for managing a team of highly skilled Commercial Real Estate (CRE) valuation professionals.
Essential Job Functions
The day-to-day work will consist of:
- Manage a team of 15+ professionals working in Commercial Real Estate valuations and appraisal reports.
- Provide training to team members in Commercial Real Estate, valuation methodologies, and appraisal report writing.
- Serve as a technical expert to guide and mentor team members to deliver high-quality reports within the standard turnaround time.
- Regularly interact with onshore teams to discuss project pipeline, staffing, resource availability, and provide performance feedback for team members.
- Collaborate with onshore teams to lead and execute Commercial Real Estate valuation engagements.
- Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of Commercial Real Estate valuations and the appraisal report writing process.
- Contribute to team operations, including reporting, hiring, resource planning, and performance management.
- Drive process improvements and maintain quality control for existing valuation processes.
- Ensure adherence to client guidelines, internal quality standards, and project timelines.
Qualifications / Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CFA, MRICS, CPA/CA, or FRM will be an added advantage.
- 10+ years of experience in Commercial Real Estate valuations and appraisal services.
- Strong experience in financial modelling and valuation techniques.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in valuation and market research tools such as Argus Enterprise and CoStar.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Solid understanding of Commercial Real Estate, valuation methodologies, and finance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
