About The Role
As a SoC Functional Validation Engineer, you will be responsible for functional validation and bring-up of advanced SoC platforms across pre-silicon and post-silicon environments. This role involves hands-on debugging, test development, and collaboration across multiple engineering disciplines.
This is a 6-month contract role with a strong possibility of extension.

As a SoC Functional Validation Engineer, you will be responsible for functional validation and bring-up of advanced SoC platforms across pre-silicon and post-silicon environments. This role involves hands-on debugging, test development, and collaboration across multiple engineering disciplines.
This is a 6-month contract role with a strong possibility of extension.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional validation of new SoC designs featuring high-end ARM processors.
- Execute SoC bring-up and validation of key interfaces including:
- LPDDR, Ethernet, PCIe, HBM
- CPUs and Coherent Mesh
- Low-speed IOs (UART, I2C, I3C, SPI)
- Develop and execute bare-metal C test cases.
- Debug and validate designs using FPGA HAPS / Zebu emulation platforms, followed by silicon-based target hardware.
- Design and implement test infrastructure to support SoC validation activities.
- Collaborate with Architects, RTL Verification, Electrical Testing & Characterization, and Production Firmware teams throughout the validation lifecycle.
- Strong proficiency in Embedded C programming.
- Hands-on experience with ARM high-end CPUs and cache-coherent interconnect protocols.
- Experience with high-speed interfaces and protocols such as:
- PCIe Gen6
- Die-to-die links
- LPDDR5
- HBM3
- Proven experience in pre-silicon and post-silicon SoC validation environments.
- Python scripting for automation and test support.
- Experience with Silicon SoC bring-up.
- Development of high-speed interface device drivers.
- Candidates must provide a self-rating for the required technical skills.
