Job Purpose
As a Associate you will be responsible for development and performance of all sales strategies in assigned market, drive primary sales, secondary sales and ensuring brand presence. You will supervise/manage distributor network to achieve sales objectives ensuring achievement of financial and ethical objectives as per business strategy.
Authority to develop customer management plan, approve expiry products, issue credit note, recommend appointment and credit limits of distributors, develop, execute & plan resource utilization and participate in Strategy Execution review meetings to ensure alignment.
You have a very important role to play in Division's success.
Roles and Responsibilities
Area Business Planning:
u2022 Plan monthly and quarterly business, Trade activation, overall sales
u2022 Plan demand generation and fulfilment
u2022 Monitor Sales, mid-course corrections to reduce variance
u2022 Prescription audit for Abbott and competitors brands
u2022 Create and update customer list of doctors / chemist (Trade)
u2022 Identify potential town, appoint distributor and customers
Business generation & development:
u2022 Achieve Sales targets by promoting companies product ethically
u2022 Science base discussion with Doctor and chemist
u2022 Organizing Camps (CME), activations for brand visibility
u2022 Plan merchandising and sampling activity
u2022 Facilitate new product launch and customer targeting
u2022 Execute customer management plan:
a. 100% coverage of Doctors
b. Customer Call average
c. Market intelligence and inventory management calls
Brand Management:
u2022 Ensure visibility of Abbott brands on retailers outlet
u2022 Make productive call every day
u2022 Recommend appointment of distributor
u2022 Ensure stock and sales statements and claims settlement
Customer Management:
u2022 Communicate scheme on Abbott Products and update customers knowledge
u2022 Update Doctor list and generate primary order
u2022 Execute trade activation / Reward and Recognition
u2022 Train supervise Distributor & staff, ISR / Distributor Sales Force
u2022 Audit and approve claims of breakages and expiry
Additional Responsibilities
u2022 Lead adherence to Abbott Code of Business conduct, FCPA, Pharmacovigilance
u2022 Compliance to financial, statutory and regulatory norms
u2022 Promote professional behavior in line with Abbott Values
u2022 Ensure customer service, accuracy in transactions and orders
u2022 Manage attrition of customer and resource bases
u2022 Execute division and business strategy
u2022 Attend Strategy meetings, doctors meets, workshops and training programmes
