Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for Physics Associate Teachers based in Thane. The role involves planning and delivering engaging physics lessons aligned with the curriculum, with a focus on conceptual clarity and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities include preparing daily lesson plans, creating assessments, conducting doubt-clearing sessions, and providing individualized academic support where needed. The Physics Associate Teacher will collaborate with senior faculty to refine teaching strategies, track student performance, and contribute to academic planning. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, participating in staff meetings and training sessions, and supporting co-curricular academic activities such as test series, remedial classes, and exam preparation programs.
Qualifications
  • Strong subject-matter expertise in Physics and Physics Education, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, student-friendly manner.
  • Proficiency in Lesson Planning and classroom delivery, including structuring sessions, selecting appropriate teaching aids, and managing time effectively.
  • Solid foundation in Mathematics to support physics problem-solving, numerical applications, and exam-oriented practice.
  • Demonstrated Teaching skills, including classroom management, learner engagement, and the use of formative and summative assessment techniques.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physics or a related discipline; a B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification is preferred.
  • Effective communication skills in English and relevant regional languages, with an ability to connect with learners and families from diverse backgrounds.
  • Comfort with basic digital tools for content preparation, presentations, and student performance tracking.
  • Prior experience teaching at school or junior college level (especially for board or competitive exams) is an advantage.
