V&V Engineer: We are looking for a skilled and motivated Verification & Validation (V&V) Engineer to support metro projects across the APAC region. The role focuses on delivering end-to-end V&V engineering activities, from requirement assessment to deployment, ensuring high-quality and compliant solutions for our customers.
The position requires strong technical expertise, hands-on execution capability, and the ability to lead V&V activities across multiple projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure end-to-end verification coverage to confirm correct implementation of functional and safety requirements
- Review, update, and maintain verification test procedures and test scenarios aligned with system and signalling requirements
- Plan and execute system verification activities for Metro Signalling Systems, ensuring compliance with defined specifications and standards
- Perform test execution, result analysis, and defect identification, including detailed debugging and root cause analysis
- Generate and maintain Verification Reports, including System Operation & Performance Test Reports (safety, robustness, endurance, redundancy, etc.)
- Ensure traceability between requirements and verification evidence (RTM management)
- Drive verification efficiency with a focus on zero rework and proactive identification of dependencies and risks
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to resolve complex verification issues and improve methodologies
- Lead or participate in technical discussions with customers related to verification scope, results, and compliance
- Provides technical input to or provides required documentation as needed per assigned procedure, process and activity being performed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, integration, validation) to ensure timely and quality delivery of verification milestones
- Support continuous improvement of verification processes, tools, and practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4-5 years of Signaling experience
- Technical expertise in functional area
- Exhibited leadership in directing the activities of others in area of specialization
- Degree in Electrical engineering or Electronics Engineering
- V&V Lifecycle
- Should have worked on any of the system type - ERTMS / CBTC/ Fixed Block Systems
- Knowledge of CENELEC standards or its equivalent.
