UX/UI Lead

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Design, Human Computer Interaction, Psychology, Engineering, Information

Design, Digital Media or related disciplines.

Master's degree in Design, Human Factors, HCI, Product Design or Business Management

preferred.

Approximately 10-14 years of experience in UX Design, Product Design, Service Design, Digital

Experience or Human-Centred Design roles.

Demonstrated experience leading complex digital customer journeys in insurance, financial

services, healthcare, InsurTech, fintech, e-commerce, travel technology or other consumer digital

businesses.

Proven experience in AI-powered experiences, conversational interfaces, mobile applications,

web platforms and conversion optimisation.

Experience building and leading high-performing UX/UI teams.12+ years of experience, with at

least 5 years in a P&L leadership role within a high-growth D2C setup (FinTech, InsurTech, or E-

commerce).

Required Skills and Competencies

Ability to translate business strategy into customer-centric digital experiences.

Expertise in customer research, usability testing, customer segmentation and behavioural

analysis.

Strong understanding of customer trust and comprehension challenges in regulated industries.

Expertise in information architecture, interaction design, service design, visual design systems

and accessibility standards.

Experience designing chat, WhatsApp, conversational AI and intelligent-assistant experiences.

Understanding of AI interaction patterns, recommendation systems and human-AI collaboration

models.

Strong understanding of digital conversion funnels, experimentation frameworks and customer-

engagement metrics.

Strong understanding of digital conversion funnels, experimentation frameworks and customer-

engagement metrics; Ability to use data to identify opportunities and prioritise improvements.

Ability to influence product, technology, business and marketing teams without direct authority.
