Role OverviewA large global IT services organization is seeking a senior UX leader to build, scale, and mature its UX practice within a strategic Experience-focused business unit. This role requires strong experience in IT servicesled delivery models and a proven ability to scale design capabilities in complex, multi-client environments. The Director will anchor UX for large digital transformation programs across regulated and consumer-facing industries.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the UX practice end-to-end, including vision, operating model, capability roadmap, hiring, training, and performance management
- Drive UX strategy and experience definition for large enterprise clients
- Own experience design across customer journeys, service blueprints, wireframes, interaction models, and enterprise-grade design systems
- Establish UX delivery excellence through standardized playbooks, governance models, and quality review mechanisms
- Partner with DXP, Modern Frontend, Mobility, and Digital Marketing teams to deliver integrated, large-scale experience programs
- Build and scale cross-functional UX pods with researchers, designers, content strategists, and design system engineers
- Own UX presales including solutioning, estimation, storytelling, proposal creation, and reusable case studies
- Evangelize design thinking across business, engineering, and product stakeholders in a services-led environment
- Manage UX practice P&L, including utilization, pricing models, billing, and margin optimization
- Create reusable UX accelerators such as design systems, journey frameworks, accessibility toolkits, and usability testing assets
- Represent the UX practice in senior client discussions, design councils, and industry forums
Experience & Skills- 1824 years of UX experience, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role within large IT services organizations
- Proven experience building and scaling UX practices in multi-client, global delivery models
- Strong track record of delivering enterprise-scale UX for digital transformation programs
- Deep expertise in UX research, information architecture, interaction design, and design systems
- Hands-on experience with omnichannel, mobile-first, and DXP-driven experience platforms
- Strong collaboration skills across engineering, product, and data teams
- Ability to engage senior client stakeholders and operate in ambiguous, high-growth environments
