Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design.
- Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with visual design in product or UX design environment
- Experience designing for creator tools or creation experiences.
- Experience designing across multiple platforms, and working with technical/design teams to create user flows, wireframes, and building user interface mockups and prototype.
- Experience designing consumer-facing products and mobile applications.

YouTube Create, YouTube's standalone video editing app, is expanding the team in Bangalore. As a UX Designer in this team you will be responsible for the design and execution of Create's growing list of features and functionalities.
You will be passionate about improving the experience of video production and is eager to build products that impact millions of users daily. You have the ability to balance real world use cases with the infinite possibilities that GenAI provides.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements, and provide solutions.
- Communicate the user experience at various stages of the design process with wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, and high fidelity prototypes.
- Integrate user feedback and business requirements into ongoing product experience updates.
- Advocate for the prioritization of design centered changes, refinements, and improvements.
- Stay up-to-date with the video creation ecosystem of apps and common capabilities used by the Creator community.
