We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior UX Designer to join our growing team. As a Senior UX Designer, you will be responsible for creating intuitive, engaging, and effective user experiences for our web applications, dashboards, and interactive user interfaces. You will play a key role in all phases of the design process, from user research and information architecture to prototyping and visual design. You will be a champion for user-centered design principles and work collaboratively with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

User Research & Analysis: Conduct user research, including user interviews, usability testing, and competitive analysis, to understand user needs, behaviors, and motivations.

Information Architecture: Develop clear and logical information architectures that support user goals.

Interaction Design: Design intuitive and engaging interactions for web pages, dashboards, and complex UI elements.

Prototyping: Create low-fidelity wireframes and high-fidelity interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas and validate design decisions.

Visual Design: Contribute to the visual design of interfaces, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and a high level of polish.

Design Systems: Contribute to and maintain our design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across products.

Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the design process.

Usability Testing: Plan, conduct, and analyze usability testing to identify areas for improvement.

Mock Creation (HTML/CSS): Translate designs into functional mockups using HTML and CSS for rapid prototyping and demonstration purposes. (This is not expected to be full-stack development, but rather the ability to create visually representative prototypes.)

Documentation: Create clear and concise design documentation, including user flows, wireframes, and style guides.

Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers.

Qualifications:

Experience: 4+ years of experience in UX design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your skills and experience.

Design Tools: Proficiency in UX design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.

Prototyping Tools: Experience with prototyping tools like InVision, Axure RP, or similar.

HTML/CSS: Solid understanding of HTML and CSS for creating interactive mockups and prototypes.

Responsive Design: Strong understanding of responsive design principles.

Usability Principles: Deep understanding of usability principles, user-centered design methodologies, and accessibility guidelines.

Communication Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Desired Skills (Plus):

Experience designing dashboards and data visualization tools.

Understanding of automotive industry trends and technologies.

Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Knowledge of User Interface (UI) design principles.
