Job Description

Apprentice Program

UX Designer

  • Duration: 6months
  • Training Period: 2-3 Weeks of Guided Onboarding
  • Work-Mode: Hybrid/Bangalore
  • Education: Design, HCI, Visual Communication, or a related field.
  • Experience: 0-1 Year

Responsibilities

  • Assist senior designers with day-to-day design tasks, including wireframes, mockups,
  • and design exploration.
  • Iterate on designs based on team feedback and incorporate changes quickly and
  • accurately.
  • Help prepare design files, prototypes, and assets for review and developer handoff.
  • Build and refine reusable components, with a particular focus on navigation patterns
  • (top nav, side nav, tabs, breadcrumbs, mobile menus).
  • Make sure components use consistent variants, properties, and auto-layout behavior
  • so they scale across screen sizes.
  • Review the existing icon set for consistency in size, stroke, padding, and visual style.
  • Standardize icons against a unified grid and naming system, and update or recreate
  • icons that don't meet the standard.
  • Maintain the icon library so it's easy for designers and developers to find, use, and
  • contribute to.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Design, HCI, Visual
  • Communication, or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of Figma, including components, variants, auto-layout, and styles.
  • A portfolio or coursework that demonstrates an eye for typography, spacing, hierarchy,
  • and visual consistency.
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working through repetitive, precision-focused
  • tasks (this role involves a lot of cleanup and standardization work).
  • Self-motivated and able to manage time and deliverables while working remotely across
  • time zones.

Nice to Have

  • Prior exposure to a design system, component library, or pattern library.
  • Familiarity with responsive design principles for both desktop and mobile.Basic
  • understanding of accessibility fundamentals.
  • Comfortable with micro interactions and high fidelity prototyping.
