Position Summary
s a Senior Consultant in Deloitte's Cyber practice, you will help clients strengthen data protection capabilities across strategy, design, and implementation efforts. You will support the delivery of data protection solutions that address security, privacy, and regulatory requirements while helping organizations operate with greater confidence in a changing risk landscape. This role offers the opportunity to work across assessments, solution design, deployment, integration, and client enablement in complex enterprise environments.
Work you'll do
As a Senior Consultant - Data Protection on the Data and Digital Trust team, you will be responsible for:
- Assess client data protection environments, perform gap analyses, and support the development of remediation recommendations aligned to business and security requirements.
- Contribute to the design of data protection solutions, including technical requirements, high-level design, low-level design, and evaluation of technologies through proof-of-concept activities.
- Deploy, configure, and support data protection technologies across enterprise environments, including migrations, upgrades, high-availability configurations, and platform integrations.
- Develop detection use cases, workflows, and supporting documentation to help clients operationalize and sustain data protection capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, client stakeholders, and third-party vendors to deliver implementation activities, knowledge transfer, and project documentation.

Our solutions assist organizations in meeting the shifting expectations of consumers and create unprecedented business opportunities. We help our clients to define their overall Data protection and Privacy strategy, design global, pan-enterprise programs that focus on mitigating threats, evaluate their objectives, priorities, strengths and weaknesses and roll out large scale organizational changes to achieve goals. Our services capture work across advice, implement, and operate solutions. The Data and Digital Trust team delivers services to clients through following key areas:

Our Data and Digital Trust solutions are designed to allow organizations to address requirements stemming from the ever-changing regulatory landscape, consumer expectations, and technological transformations and advancements.
Location: Bengaluru / Hyderabad / Pune / Chennai
Shift Timings: IST 11 AM to 8 PM
Qualifications
Required:
- 5-7 years of experience assessing, designing, and implementing data protection strategies and solutions
- Experience performing current-state assessments, gap analyses, and solution architecture for data protection programs
- Experience developing technical requirements, high-level designs, and low-level designs for enterprise data protection implementations
- Experience deploying, configuring, or migrating security or data protection solutions in enterprise environments
- Experience integrating data protection technologies with other security platforms and enterprise systems
- Experience creating architectural, technical, or operational documentation and supporting client knowledge transfer
- Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology, Master of Computer Applications, or Master of Science in Computer Science, or equivalent
Preferred:
- Experience developing detection techniques and customizing workflows within data protection solutions
- Experience working with cloud or hybrid security architectures
- One or more certifications such as Certified Information Systems Auditor, Certified Cloud Security Professional, Certified Information Security Manager, cloud security certifications, or vendor certifications in platforms such as Varonis, Netskope, BigID, Imperva, Securiti.ai , Zscaler, Symantec, or Forcepoint
