About the role
Join USI Talent Acquisition as an experienced IAM Developer focused on designing and implementing identity and access management solutions using SailPoint and related platforms. This role requires leadership in IAM delivery and collaboration across teams to secure internal and external applications.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement IAM solutions leveraging SailPoint Identity IQ/Now and similar governance platforms.
- Develop and manage access certification, privileged access, secrets management, MFA, password-less authentication, IGA, PAM, and RBAC/ABAC controls.
- Implement Attribute Based Access Control (ABAC), Role Based Access Control (RBAC), and policy-based access controls for application security.
- Translate business strategies into architectural plans and detailed technical requirements.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
Required skills and experience
- 7-9+ years in IAM development, architecture, and support with strong fundamentals in authentication, authorization, entitlement, and role management.
- 3+ years hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityNow (Identity Cloud) and integrating with Okta, Active Directory/LDAP, HRIS, and SaaS applications.
- Proficiency in Java, Beanshell scripting, REST APIs, and SCIM provisioning standards.
- Experience working in Agile environments and leading sprint-based delivery.
- Strong knowledge of IAM standards including SAML, OAuth2, OIDC, FIDO2, RBAC, ABAC, and access certification.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to document and convey technical concepts clearly.
Nice to have
- Certifications such as SailPoint Certified IdentityNow Developer, Okta Certified Professional, CISSP, or similar.
- Familiarity with Zero Trust Architecture, Identity Governance & Administration frameworks, and security best practices.
- Experience managing IAM in cloud environments like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Exposure to additional IAM tools such as CyberArk, ForgeRock, Ping Identity and compliance frameworks like HIPAA, SOX, GDPR, NIST CSF, ISO 27001.
- Experience in regulated industries and knowledge of manufacturing or automobile sector IAM requirements.
