Are you passionate about creating intuitive and visually stunning digital experiences We're offering an unpaid summer internship opportunity for creative and detail-oriented individuals to join our design team. As a UI/UX Design Intern, you'll collaborate on real-world projects, learn modern design practices, and help shape user-centric interfaces for web applications in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile platforms.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs using tools like Figma or Adobe XD.
• Conduct user research, competitive analysis, and usability testing to inform design decisions.
• Work collaboratively with our product, design, and development teams to create intuitive, engaging user interfaces that effectively translate design concepts into seamless user experiences.
• Maintain design consistency through defined UI patterns, style guides, and design systems.
• Iterate on feedback to refine user flows and improve user experience based on real usage data and test results.

--Requirements--

Must-Have:

• Design Tools: Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, or similar tools for designing UI components and prototypes.
• UX Fundamentals: Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, accessibility, and usability best practices.
• UI Design: Eye for detail in visual design, layout, typography, and color theory.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain design ideas and processes clearly.
• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, accepting feedback and incorporating it productively.
• Portfolio: A solid design portfolio showcasing UX process, visual design, and problem-solving abilities.

Nice To Have:

• Motion Design: Experience with prototyping tools like Framer, Protopie, or basic animation in Figma.
• Design Systems: Familiarity with creating or contributing to a design system.
• User Testing: Hands-on experience with conducting usability tests and synthesizing user feedback.
• Basic HTML/CSS: Understanding of how design translates into code.

Hiring Process:
