About ALLEN Digital Allen Career Institute has been in the coaching sector for the last 34 years and has earned an undisputed market leader position in preparation for JEE (Main+Advanced), NEET, and Class VI to X, NTSE & Olympiads. It currently spans 40 cities in India with more than 2,75,000 students and a revenue base of 2500 Cr+. We are at a 1.6 billion valuation after the last fundraise on the back of offline business which has grown 50%+ in just the last year. We are currently setting up our design, tech, and product teams in Bangalore which will focus on digitizing our offline business and building our online business. In our view, traditional coaching set-ups have a very strong consumer proposition in terms of outcomes but are limited by their geographic presence and the classroom journey needs to be more data-driven and personalized. Digital education companies have predominantly solved for access but have had limited success in delivering deep engagement, comprehension, and outcomes. We, at Allen Digital, believe that we can take the best of both, the traditional classrooms and digital technologies, and create an education platform which takes the application of technology much deeper into the student journey than current market offerings and thus bring learning outcomes at scale.
Role and Responsibilities:
● Identify and prioritize key questions from product, design, engineering, and product marketing teams.
● Conduct practical and impactful research throughout the entire product cycle, from inception to completion and close the loop with feedback cycles
● Collaborate with product and design teams on secondary research such as competitor analysis, benchmarking, etc
● Use a variety of research methods, including in-depth interviews, usability studies, diary studies, and surveys, to gather insights about customers.
● Analyze both qualitative and quantitative results and convey relevant insights to appropriate stakeholders in an engaging and actionable manner.
● Work closely with product teams to help implement insights.
● Work closely with analytics and data science to develop a cohesive story about our product.
● Facilitate teams to conduct weekly user connects and build a research culture within the organization.
● Act as an internal champion for customer and product research.
● Remain open to exploring new research methodologies and tools as required by projects.
Criteria:
● 1-3 years of industry experience in driving UX research at product teams.
● Proficient in both qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis for both generative and evaluative research.
● Skilled in navigating cross-functional teams to facilitate research execution.
● Excellent research execution skills including scoping, moderation, analysis, and synthesis.
● Strong collaboration and communication skills to effectively work with multiple stakeholders.
● Proficient in storytelling with the ability to articulate insights into crisp, compelling narratives
