User Experience Designer

We are looking for a multitalented individual who is passionate about designing user experience and user interfaces across platforms.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and conduct user research and competitor analysis
• Interpret data and qualitative feedback
• Create user stories, personas, and storyboards
• Determine information architecture and create sitemaps
• Create prototypes and wireframes
• Conduct usability testing
• Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience
• Execute all visual design stages from high level information architecture (from flowcharts to wireframes) through concept to final hand to engineering design for desktop, tablet and mobile
• Create wireframes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
• Create prototypes in Axure and/or comparable interaction applications.

Skills/Competencies Required:

• Excellence in both UX and UI design skills with a strong portfolio
• Proficiency in interaction design and wireframes and ability to create innovative solutions
• Proficiency in Axure or comparable application for rapid prototyping
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-centered design interaction
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
• Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process is a plus
• Minimum 2 years of industry experience working within interactive design mediums including websites and mobile applications
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must present a portfolio of industry examples illustrating step-by- step solutions to project requirements
