User Experience Designer Intern

Job Description - UX Design intern

Responsibilities

Create wireframes, user flows, and basic prototypes

Support UI design tasks: layout, spacing, hierarchy, typography

Apply UX principles to improve usability and clarity

Assist in research, insights gathering, and problem-framing

Work closely with product and development teams

Prepare clean design handoff files and maintain documentation

Suggest improvements, contribute to design discussions, and think beyond visuals

Requirements

Strong understanding of UI fundamentals

Basic knowledge of UX processes, heuristics, and principles

Hands-on experience with Figma or similar tools

Ability to create low-fi and high-fi designs

Optional: motion design or micro-interaction skills

6 months 1 year of relevant experience (internship/freelance/projects)

Detail-oriented, quick learner, and comfortable with feedback

Good to Have

Familiarity with design systems

Understanding of responsive and adaptive design

Problem-solving mindset with a user-first approach
