Job Description

We're looking for a UI/UX Designer to join our team at Greater Goods. In this role, you'll focus primarily on user interface (UI) design, crafting visually compelling and intuitive experiences for native and web applications. While a strong understanding of UX is important, we're particularly seeking someone with an eye for visual design, interaction design, and scalable design systems.

You'll collaborate closely with an international product team of developers and designers to bring our digital products to life. If you're an expert in Figma with a passion for pixel-perfect design, we'd love to hear from you!

What You'll Do

  • Design user-friendly interfaces that elevate the digital product experience.
  • Develop and maintain design systems to ensure consistency across platforms.
  • Create high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, and UI components in Figma.
  • Collaborate with developers for seamless design handoff and implementation.
  • Iterate on designs based on user feedback, business needs, and stakeholder input.
  • Stay updated on UI trends, best practices, and industry standards, including leveraging AI tools in design workflows.

  • What You Bring

    • 4-6 years of experience in UI/UX design.
    • Expert-level proficiency in Figma (components, auto-layout, variants, prototyping, etc.).
    • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop).
    • Experience working with Jira and an Agile development process.
    • Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and design principles.
    • Experience designing data visualizations, including dashboards, charts, and interactive graphics that effectively communicate complex information.
    • Experience designing for web and mobile applications; experience with widgets, smartwatches, and cross-platform UI is a plus.
    • Knowledge of icon design, interaction design, animations, and microinteractions.
    • Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG, ADA compliance).
    • Experience with wireframing, prototyping, and user flows.
    • Strong communication skills for presenting and justifying design decisions to developers and stakeholders.
    • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, or front-end development concepts (preferred).

Please submit a design portfolio to be considered for the role. During the interview process there will be a 2-hour in-office design project.
