About the Role
We are looking for a Junior UX Designer / Fresher who is passionate about user-centered design and eager to learn by working closely with senior designers. This is a prime learning role where you will contribute to real products from day one, with strong mentorship and partnership from Senior UX Designers.
You will play a key role in the re-design efforts of our product, Astra, support Design QA across multiple products, and gradually grow into owning products or critical user journeys over the next three years.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Execution
- Create low to mid-fidelity wireframes for web and mobile experiences in collaboration with Senior UX Designers
- Translate product requirements and user needs into clear design solutions
- Assist in maintaining design consistency across products
Collaboration & Mentorship
- Work in close partnership with Senior UX Designers for guidance, feedback, and learning
- Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback constructively
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and QA teams
Design Quality & Governance
- Support Design QA by reviewing implemented designs against wireframes and design guidelines
- Help identify usability issues and visual inconsistencies across products
- Assist in documenting design decisions and patterns
Learning & Growth
- Continuously learn and apply core design principles (usability, accessibility, hierarchy, consistency)
- Build understanding of the lending and financial ecosystem, user personas, and domain-specific constraints
- Actively improve skills in wireframing, interaction design, and problem-solving
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Degree in M.Des / B.Des or equivalent
- Strong understanding of UX fundamentals (user flows, wireframes, usability)
- Basic proficiency in design tools such as Figma (or similar)
- Ability to communicate design ideas clearly
- Curiosity, willingness to learn, and openness to feedback
Good to Have
- Internship or academic project experience in UX/UI
- Basic understanding of fintech or lending products (not mandatory)
- Awareness of accessibility and inclusive design principles
