User Experience Designer

LOCATION-CHENNAI ONLY

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with other designers and stakeholders to align with customer needs and expectations.
2. Recommend design decisions and communicate reasoning behind them.
3. Create effective plans to design, prototype, and iterate quickly in an outcome-driven environment.
4. Advocate for human-cantered approaches, building agreement among diverse stakeholders using firm grounding in user and business needs.
5. Craft useful and usable experiences through process diagrams, sketches, wireframes, prototypes, visual designs, and handoffs to engineering.
6. Routinely collaborate with product managers, designers to build a shared understanding of product vision and design approach.
7. Learn about user attitudes and behaviours, establish design hypotheses, prototype solutions, evaluate results, and bring designs to life.

Requirements and skills:

1. Experience as a UX Designer, UI Designer, or similar role.
2. Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture.
3. A degree/ course specialising in Design.
4. Solid understanding of user-centered design and interaction design principles.
5. Proficient in design and collaboration tools such as Figma, Miro.
6. Well versed in working with design systems, building custom components and creating interactive clickable prototypes in Figma.
7. Ability to understand concepts and convert them into effective designs.
8. Conduct usability testing and prepare usability test reports.
