Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Design Strategy
- Lead and mentor a team of UX and Visual Designers, fostering creativity and continuous improvement
- Define and maintain UX standards, design governance, and best practices across digital products
- Drive end-to-end design strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs
Design Execution & Innovation
- Lead the full design lifecycle, from research and ideation to prototyping and delivery
- Design intuitive user experiences for data products, dashboards, and BI tools
- Apply design thinking and user-centered design principles to create innovative solutions
- Develop wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and user flows to communicate design concepts
- Ensure delivery of high-quality, scalable, and consistent design outputs
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with Product Managers, Developers, Data Teams, and Business Stakeholders
- Plan and facilitate design thinking workshops to capture requirements and drive alignment
- Present design concepts and rationale to internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate across teams to ensure smooth handoffs and product consistency
Research & Validation
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and feedback sessions
- Develop personas, journey maps, and insights to guide design decisions
- Iterate designs based on data, feedback, and performance metrics
Process, Delivery & Quality
- Manage multiple projects and priorities, ensuring timely delivery
- Execute UI testing and quality assurance, including bug tracking and resolution
- Maintain strong documentation and ensure design consistency across platforms
- Stay current with latest UX/UI trends, tools, and technologies
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, HCI, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in UX/UI design, including 3+ years in a leadership role
- Proven expertise in design thinking, user research, prototyping, and usability testing
- Strong portfolio showcasing enterprise and data-driven digital products
- Experience designing for BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik)
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and visual design tools
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
