Job Description

Job Title: User Experience Design Lead

Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India

Type: Full Time

Our Client is seeking a creative, vibrant, and passionate Design Lead to drive exceptional user experiences across digital platforms. This role is ideal for a design leader who thrives on innovation, collaboration, and solving complex problems while delivering user-centric solutions that support digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Design Strategy

  • Lead and mentor a team of UX and Visual Designers, fostering creativity and continuous improvement
  • Define and maintain UX standards, design governance, and best practices across digital products
  • Drive end-to-end design strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs

Design Execution & Innovation

  • Lead the full design lifecycle, from research and ideation to prototyping and delivery
  • Design intuitive user experiences for data products, dashboards, and BI tools
  • Apply design thinking and user-centered design principles to create innovative solutions
  • Develop wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and user flows to communicate design concepts
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality, scalable, and consistent design outputs

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with Product Managers, Developers, Data Teams, and Business Stakeholders
  • Plan and facilitate design thinking workshops to capture requirements and drive alignment
  • Present design concepts and rationale to internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure smooth handoffs and product consistency

Research & Validation

  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and feedback sessions
  • Develop personas, journey maps, and insights to guide design decisions
  • Iterate designs based on data, feedback, and performance metrics

Process, Delivery & Quality

  • Manage multiple projects and priorities, ensuring timely delivery
  • Execute UI testing and quality assurance, including bug tracking and resolution
  • Maintain strong documentation and ensure design consistency across platforms
  • Stay current with latest UX/UI trends, tools, and technologies

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, HCI, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in UX/UI design, including 3+ years in a leadership role
  • Proven expertise in design thinking, user research, prototyping, and usability testing
  • Strong portfolio showcasing enterprise and data-driven digital products
  • Experience designing for BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik)
  • Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and visual design tools
  • Experience working in Agile environments
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
