Role Overview

As a Senior US Taxation Manager (4–6 years experience), you will take ownership of complex tax compliance and advisory assignments while providing strategic support to senior leaders. This role requires strong technical expertise, independent decision‑making, and the ability to manage client engagements with a high degree of professionalism. You will play a key role in driving quality, accuracy, and operational excellence across the taxation function.

Key Responsibilities

Independently prepare and review advanced US federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships.

Lead tax planning, compliance, and advisory initiatives, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and client expectations.

Conduct in‑depth tax research and deliver clear, well‑supported technical conclusions and documentation.

Oversee timely filings, audit preparedness, and process accuracy, maintaining structured and compliant records.

Collaborate with senior leadership to deliver high‑quality client service and support end‑to‑end engagement management.

Mentor and guide junior team members, providing technical direction and quality assessments.

Identify and drive process enhancements, improving efficiency, consistency, and compliance within the tax function.

 

Qualifications

CPA qualification (mandatory).

4–6 years of progressive experience in US taxation across individual, corporate, and partnership returns.

Advanced understanding of US tax regulations, compliance processes, and multi‑state tax requirements.

Proficiency in tax software platforms and MS Office; experience with leading tax technology solutions preferred.

Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills with exceptional attention to detail and documentation quality.
