Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Business Development Specialist based in Dehradun. The Business Development Specialist will identify and qualify new business opportunities, conduct market research in the AEC and related sectors, and build a robust pipeline through targeted lead generation activities. The role includes engaging with prospective and existing clients, understanding their resource and project needs, presenting suitable service offerings, and coordinating follow-ups to move opportunities through the sales cycle. The specialist will collaborate with internal delivery and marketing teams to prepare proposals, maintain accurate records in CRM tools, and support revenue growth through relationship-building and customer-focused communication. Day-to-day responsibilities also involve monitoring industry trends, participating in meetings or events, and providing feedback to refine business development strategies.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret market data, assess client requirements, and evaluate business opportunities.
  • Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to interact with clients, present solutions clearly, and collaborate with internal teams.
  • Candidates should possess Lead Generation and Market Research abilities to identify target segments, generate qualified leads, and map potential accounts.

  • Relevant experience in business development or sales, preferably in AEC, engineering services, IT services, or professional staffing.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, basic sales reporting, and pipeline management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Ability to work on-site in Dehradun, manage multiple priorities, and meet defined targets and timelines.
