US MORTGAGE ANALYST – PAYOFF LETTERS / LOAN SERVICING

We are currently hiring a US Mortgage Analyst with 2–3 years of experience to support a leading U.S.-based mortgage servicing engagement. This role offers strong exposure to loan servicing operations, payoff calculations, mortgage documentation, and borrower servicing processes within the U.S. mortgage ecosystem.
As a US Mortgage Analyst, you will serve as an embedded partner working closely with servicing teams, borrower support functions, and internal stakeholders. You will not just prepare payoff statements — you will contribute to accurate loan closure, servicing excellence, and operational effectiveness.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• You will prepare accurate and compliant mortgage payoff letters, ensuring all outstanding principal, accrued interest, and applicable fees are calculated and documented correctly.
• You will review and interpret mortgage loan documents to validate payoff requirements, loan terms, servicing conditions, and applicable guidelines.
• You will perform detailed calculations related to interest, fees, and payoff components, ensuring alignment with servicing standards and regulatory expectations.
• You will support borrower and stakeholder communication by responding to payoff-related requests and servicing inquiries with professionalism and accuracy.
• You will ensure all payoff requests are completed within agreed service level agreements (SLAs) and turnaround timelines.
• You will maintain high standards of documentation quality, audit readiness, and operational controls across payoff servicing activities.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and support smooth and timely loan closure processes.
• You will contribute to process discipline and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance servicing efficiency and customer outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• 2–3 years of experience in US mortgage loan servicing with hands-on experience in payoff letters preparation
• Strong understanding of mortgage documents, servicing guidelines, payoff calculations, and loan lifecycle processes
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, and basic macros
• Ability to review and interpret loan documentation, servicing requirements, and regulatory guidelines
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Business, or related field; MBA, CFA, or postgraduate qualification is an advantage
