Job Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic
US IT Recruiter with 13 years of experience in sourcing, screening, and hiring IT professionals for US-based clients. The ideal candidate should be familiar with US hiring practices, tax terms (W2, C2C, 1099), and should be comfortable working in night shifts to support US time zones.
Responsibilities
- Handle the complete recruitment life cycle for US IT staffingsourcing, screening, negotiation, and placement.
- Source candidates via job portals such as Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, and LinkedIn.
- Understand client requirements for various IT positions and identify suitable candidates.
- Conduct preliminary screening to evaluate candidate experience, skills, visa status, availability, and rate expectations.
- Negotiate compensation rates (W2, C2C, 1099) and ensure compliance with US hiring standards.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and clients/hiring managers.
- Maintain relationships with consultants, vendors, and clients.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified IT professionals.
- Track submissions, interviews, and pipeline updates in ATS and internal systems.
- Ensure timely onboarding and follow-up with selected candidates.
Required Skills
- 13 years of experience in US IT recruitment (Bench sales experience is a plus).
- Good knowledge of US tax termsW2, C2C, 1099.
- Familiarity with US visas such as H1B, GC, USC, TN, EAD, OPT/CPT, etc.
- Experience using US job portals: Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) in English.
- Ability to work in night shifts to support US EST/PST time zones.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Good understanding of various IT technologies and skill sets.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Management, or related field.
- Experience in working with direct clients and implementation partners.
- Knowledge of ATS systems and recruitment tools.
