Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Recruiter with over 3+ years of experience, specializing in W2-based recruiting. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of hiring top-tier technical talent and a strong background in supporting clients across Local, State, and Federal Government agencies as well as commercial sectors. This role requires in-depth knowledge of the US IT job market, relevant technologies, and compliance with W2 employment requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source, screen, and recruit candidates for W2-based IT roles and non IT Roles.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment processes, from job intake to offer negotiation and onboarding.
- Recruit for technical positions supporting Local, State, and Federal Government clients, ensuring compliance with agency-specific guidelines and security requirements.
- Ensure candidate eligibility and adherence to W2 employment regulations, including work authorization and documentation.
- Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) and sourcing platforms to build and manage a pipeline of qualified candidates.
- Collaborate with leads and delivery teams to understand job requirements and hiring priorities.
- Stay informed on current industry trends, emerging technologies, and government contracting needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of recruiting activities and ensure a high level of candidate experience.
- Manage multiple requisitions simultaneously while ensuring quality and speed.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in IT recruiting with a strong emphasis on W2-based hiring.
- Demonstrated success in recruiting for government clients at the Local, State, and Federal levels.
- Strong understanding of the US IT job market, skill sets, and industry trends.
- Knowledge of W2 employment laws, compliance, and documentation requirements.
- Hands-on experience with ATS tools and sourcing platforms (LinkedIn, Dice, Monster, etc.).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in team environments under tight deadlines.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- Prior experience in an agency or consulting environment supporting public sector clients.
