Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced US IT Recruiter to join our talent acquisition team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in end-to-end US IT recruitment, sourcing, screening, and hiring candidates for various IT positions across technologies. The recruiter will be responsible for identifying qualified candidates, coordinating interviews, negotiating rates, and ensuring successful placements while maintaining strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle for US-based IT requirements.
- Source candidates through job portals such as Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and internal databases.
- Screen and evaluate candidate profiles based on technical skills, experience, visa status, and client requirements.
- Conduct initial HR screenings and assess candidate suitability.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and clients/hiring managers.
- Negotiate compensation, rates, and employment terms with candidates.
- Maintain regular follow-ups with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified IT professionals.
- Work closely with Account Managers, Sales Teams, and Hiring Managers to understand staffing requirements.
- Maintain accurate records in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment trackers.
- Ensure compliance with US staffing processes and recruitment best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in US IT Staffing or US IT Recruitment.
- Strong understanding of the US recruitment lifecycle.
- Experience working on W2, C2C, and 1099 hiring models.
- Good knowledge of US work authorization categories including H1B, OPT, CPT, GC, EAD, and US Citizens.
- Hands-on experience using sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, and Indeed.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
