Job Description

Job Title: US IT Recruiter Lead

Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, India

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly experienced and driven US IT Recruiter Lead to join our growing talent acquisition team. This is a leadership role that requires a strong background in full-cycle US IT recruitment, with deep expertise in sourcing strategies and technical screening of W-2 candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of US IT recruiters to achieve hiring targets
  • Source high-quality W-2 candidates through various channels including job boards, LinkedIn, social media, networking, and Boolean search techniques
  • Conduct thorough technical screening and assessment of candidates for a wide range of IT roles (software engineers, developers, architects, QA, DevOps, data engineers, etc.)
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand technical requirements and define sourcing strategies
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, offer management, and onboarding
  • Maintain and grow a strong pipeline of pre-qualified W-2 candidates across multiple IT disciplines
  • Ensure compliance with US employment regulations and company hiring policies
  • Track and report recruitment metrics to leadership
  • Drive continuous improvement in sourcing strategies, screening processes, and candidate experience

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in US IT recruitment, with at least 1-2 years in a lead or supervisory capacity
  • Must be very strong in candidate sourcing — including Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards (Dice, Monster, Indeed), and creative headhunting strategies
  • Must be very strong in technical screening of IT candidates across various domains
  • Exclusively focused on W-2 candidates (no C2C or 1099)
  • Deep understanding of US staffing models, tax terms (W-2, C2C, 1099), and employment types
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment tools
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in US time zones and manage multiple requisitions simultaneously

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience recruiting for niche and specialized IT roles
  • Familiarity with visa types (H1B, GC, USC, EAD) and their implications for W-2 employment
  • Prior experience working with US-based clients or staffing firms
