Job Title: US IT Recruiter (Fresher)

Location: Nungambakkam - Chennai - (Onsite)

Work Hours: US Shift (EST/CST/MST/PST)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented US IT Recruiter (Fresher) to join our talent acquisition team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a strong interest in learning end-to-end US staffing processes, including sourcing, screening, and placing top IT talent with our US clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Learn and support the full recruitment lifecycle for US-based IT roles.
• Source candidates using job boards (Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, Indeed, etc.), LinkedIn, and internal databases.
• Screen resumes to evaluate technical skills, experience, and job fit.
• Conduct initial phone screenings with candidates regarding job details, availability, and compensation.
• Submit qualified candidates to senior recruiters or hiring managers.
• Coordinate candidate interviews and follow-ups.
• Maintain candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified IT professionals.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet hiring goals and deadlines.
• Understand and adapt to US hiring policies, tax terms (W2, C2C, 1099), and work authorizations (USC, GC, H1B, OPT, CPT).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline (HR, Business, IT preferred but not required).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work in US time zones.
• Strong ability to learn new concepts, technologies, and tools quickly.
• Good interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic understanding of IT terminology (preferred but can be trained).
• High energy, positive attitude, and strong work ethic.

Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory):

• Familiarity with job portals like Dice, Monster, LinkedIn, etc.
• Basic understanding of US visa types and tax terms.
• Internship experience in recruitment or HR.
