HonorVet Technologies is expanding its IT Recruitment team and looking for passionate recruiters with experience in US IT Staffing!

Location: Mohali (Onsite)

Shift: PST Shift

Experience: 1–4 Years

Working Days: 5 Days a Week

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented US IT Recruiter to join our growing recruitment team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and submitting qualified IT candidates for contract, contract-to-hire, and permanent positions across the United States. You will work directly with account managers and clients to fulfill open requirements within strict turnaround times.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about connecting the right talent with the right opportunity, and is comfortable working in the US PST time zone

Key Responsibilities

  • Source active and passive IT candidates through job portals (Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder), LinkedIn Premium, and internal databases
  • Build and execute Boolean search strings to identify qualified candidates efficiently
  • Screen candidates via phone/video for technical skills, communication, availability, work authorization, and rate expectations
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment lifecycle — from requirement intake to offer roll out
  • Maintain and update candidate pipelines in the ATS (Job Diva or similar)
  • Ensure timely and accurate submissions to clients within defined turnaround times
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates for future opportunities.
  • Stay updated on US work authorization types — W2, C2C, H1B, GC, US Citizen, TN,EAD
  • Meet daily/weekly targets for submissions, interviews, and placements

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 1 to 4 years of experience in US IT staffing/recruitment
  • Hands-on experience with job portals — Dice, Monster, LinkedIn Premium
  • Working knowledge of ATS tools (Job Diva preferred)
  • Strong understanding of IT roles and technologies (Java, .NET, Cloud, Data Engineering, Scrum Master, DevOps, etc.)
  • Familiarity with US tax terms — W2, C2C,
  • Knowledge of US work visas — H1B, GC, EAD, TN,1099 USC
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Ability to build Boolean search strings independently
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to manage multiple requirements simultaneously
  • Must be comfortable and committed to working PST shift (8:00 PM or 9PM IST)

Preferred:

  • Experience working with direct clients or MSP/VMS environments
  • Exposure to niche IT hiring — cybersecurity, AI/ML, cloud architecture
  • Prior experience with passive candidate outreach strategies on Lin
  • Understanding of contract staffing metrics — fill rate, submission-to-interview ratio, time-to -fill
