US IT Recruiter – Federal Hiring

Job Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated US IT Recruiter – Federal Hiring to join our recruitment team. The ideal candidate should have experience in sourcing, screening, and submitting candidates for US IT requirements, especially for Federal/State government clients. The recruiter will work closely with recruiting managers to understand job requirements and identify suitable candidates through various job portals and networking platforms.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Understand and analyze Federal/State client IT requirements.
  • Source candidates using LinkedIn, Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, and other job portals.
  • Perform headhunting and Boolean search techniques to identify qualified candidates.
  • Screen candidates based on technical skills, communication, experience, and work authorization.
  • Good understanding of US tax terms such as W2, C2C, and 1099.
  • Knowledge of visa statuses including H1B, OPT, EAD, GC, TN, L1, and L2.
  • Coordinate interviews and follow up with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Format and update resumes according to client requirements.
  • Maintain daily reports, submissions, interview schedules, and placement trackers.
  • Work independently and collaboratively to achieve recruitment targets.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of IT candidates for Federal requirements.
  • Mandatory Requirements:

    • 0 – 2 Years of experience in US IT Recruitment.
    • Experience working on Federal/State client requirements is preferred.
    • Strong experience with LinkedIn, Dice, Monster, and CareerBuilder.
    • Good knowledge of IT technologies and recruitment process.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
    • Highly motivated, hardworking, and eager to learn.
  • Preferred Skills:

    • Experience working with MSP/VMS requirements.
    • Knowledge of clearance-based positions and Federal compliance.
    • Strong sourcing and candidate relationship management skills.
