Job Description

Primary Title: US IT Bench Sales Recruiter (Remote, India)

Industry: IT Staffing & Talent Solutions. Sector: US-facing IT consulting and contract workforce placement serving enterprise and mid-market buyers across technology, product engineering, and services lines. We source, qualify, and place skilled IT consultants on US engagements and manage bench inventory to maximise utilization and revenue.

Role & Responsibilities

Drive end-to-end bench sales for US IT contractor job seekers: identify opportunities, pitch candidates to recruiters and hiring managers, and close contractual placements (W2/C2C/1099).

Build and maintain a high-quality bench pipeline through proactive sourcing, boomerang outreach, and referral activation to minimise bench time and maximise billable days.

Engage US-based clients and third-party VMS/agency partnersmanage submittals, interview scheduling, feedback loops, and offer negotiation to accelerate time-to-fill.

Maintain accurate candidate and client data in ATS/CRM; produce weekly forecasting and bench-utilization reports for leadership to drive business decisions.

Negotiate rates, terms, and SOW details with clients and consultants while ensuring compliance with US tax/payment models and internal policies.

Collaborate with recruiting, payroll, and delivery teams to ensure smooth onboarding, compliance checks, contract renewals, and timely invoicing.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

2+ years of bench sales / sales-focused recruiting experience in US IT staffing or consulting sales.

Proven track record placing IT contractors in the US market (W2/C2C/1099) and strong understanding of US hiring models.

Expert sourcing skills (LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean, job boards) plus strong cold-calling and negotiation experience.

Excellent written/verbal communication and client-facing skills; ability to work US overlap hours.

Strong Networking and organisational skills with attention to compliance, documentation, and accurate reporting (Excel/Sheets).

Preferred

Experience in niche technology stacks (Python, DevOps, AWS Cloud, Java/.NET, Data/AI, DevOps) or prior agency bench-sales background.

Familiarity with US payroll, tax implications for contractors, and vendor onboarding processes.

Exposure to enterprise sales motions and the ability to support business development activities.
